Watford set for talks with Everton over permanent £8m deal for Tom Cleverley

Watford will hold talks with Everton during the international break over a permanent deal for Tom Cleverley.
The midfielder is due to trigger an £8million transfer to Watford should he play against Sunderland on April 1 after featuring in nine games.
However, the Vicarage Road club want to confirm his signature regardless of whether he hits the trigger figure to give the squad a lift after a recent dip in results.

The 27-year-old joined on loan from Everton in January and has been a regular under Walter Mazzarri while proving a popular figure with his team-mates.
He played 80 minutes for the Hornets on Saturday against Crystal Palace, before being replaced by Isaac Success with the team trailing 1-0.
