The Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev made a thinly-veiled swipe at Arsenal in saying Djibril Sidibe can join a 'top club' after turning down Arsenal.
Sidibe, promising 24-year-old defender, is highly regarded across Europe and rejected an approach from the Gunners last summer.
He has gone on to star for the principality and earned a call up to the French national side.

Monaco vice president Vadim Vasilyev says Sidibe can now move to a top club
Vasilyev believes his form justifies the decision to turn down Arsene Wenger's approach and implied Arsenal are not one of Europe's heavy-hitters.
He told RMC: 'Djibril Sidibe preferred Monaco to Arsenal, now he is in the French national team, and he can join the top European clubs. He deserves it.'
