Paige VanZant forced to strip naked to make her weight ahead of UFC Fight Night bout against Michelle Waterson

Paige VanZant had an unexpected surprise as she made her weight ahead of her strawweight bout with Michelle Waterson at UFC Fight Night on Saturday.

VanZant, who will fight in front of her home crowd in Sacramento, needed to strip to get down to 116 pounds as her opponent Waterson hit the 115-pound mark on Friday.

The American didn't seem too bothered though as she took her clothes off. VanZant looked in a cheerful mood, smiling and joking around for the cameras.

The American pair come up against each other at UFC Fight Night in Sacramento on Saturday

The 22-year-old took to Twitter after her weigh-in and seems very confident of claiming victory over Waterson. She wrote: 'Made it baby! Haha all smiles on the scale here and all smiles to victory tomorrow!!'

And despite going face to face on Saturday night, the pair didn't seem too nervous as they were both seen playfully dancing together.

After their weigh-ins, VanZant and Waterson both pulled off various amusing dance moves before embracing each other.
