Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen interesting Sevilla with sporting director Monchi saying Wales star 'fits the profile

Sevilla are interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen according to Monchi, the club's sporting director.
Wales international Allen has been linked with a move away from Anfield after failing to tie down a place in Jurgen Klopp's first-team plans, although he has a year left on his contract. The Reds are thought to be seeking £14million for the Welshman's services.
The former Swansea man has enjoyed an impressive European Championships with Wales and is charged with increased responsibility for the semi-final clash with Portugal, as midfield colleague Aaron Ramsey is suspended.

If the 26-year-old had been trying to put himself in the shop window then he has done a good job.
Monchi, Sevilla's renowned sporting director, has taken note of Allen's performances and said the Liverpool man is the kind of player who would thrive at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.
'I don't like talking about players who aren't Sevilla's,' Monchi told Estadio Deportivo.
'Ganso and Joe Allen are not the only ones on the list. They fit the profile, but they don't have to be the ones who come.'
While Jurgen Klopp was impressed with Allen's performances at the end of the season, he is also aware the player wants regular first-team football having had his opportunities at Anfield restricted by Emre Can, James Milner, Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson
