More than 40 people are killed in Boko Haram bomb attacks on elite restaurant and mosque as Muslim cleric gave sermon about standing up to Islamists

Boko Haram has been blamed for the deaths of more than 40 people in bomb attacks at a crowded mosque and an elite restaurant in Nigeria last night.
The bombs killed 44 people and injured 67 at Yantaya Mosque and Shagalinku restaurant in Nigeria's central city of Jos.
They are the latest in a string of attacks blamed on Boko Haram that have claimed the lives of more than 200 people in the past week in the north-east of the country.
