- A two-year-old boy was playing in a foot of water at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Tuesday night when he was dragged into the Seven Seas Lagoon by an alligator
- The boy's father tried to wrestle him away from the vicious gator but was not successful
- On Wednesday, Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings said that the search for the missing boy was being turned into a recovery effort, since there is no hope he could have survived the attack
- More than 50 people are currently looking for the boy's body, using boats, a helicopter and sonar
- Meanwhile, Walt Disney World officials have closed all of the beaches at their lakefront properties
- Since the incident, trappers have caught and killed five gators, which they have dissected to look for remains
Distraught parents and two siblings are being looked after by victims' advocates
