Sergio Ramos insists Real Madrid would embrace the arrival of Antoine Griezmann: 'The club always opens its doors to great players'

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos insists his side would welcome the opportunity to sign Antoine Griezmann from rivals Atletico Madrid.
Griezmann, who scored the equaliser for Atletico in their 1-1 draw against rivals Madrid on Saturday, has continuously been linked with a move to the La Liga leaders and Manchester United.
Last week the France international claimed that he is 'nearly' fed up with speculation surrounding his future but he encouraged further talk of a shock move to Zinedine Zidane's side when he admitted he could not rule out the prospect of joining Real.

And Spanish defender Ramos says the Madrid squad would have no issues embracing the Atletico star.
'We'll see, these types of signings make a lot of headlines and he's a great player who's been proving himself for a few years,' Ramos said.

Meanwhile, Ramos' manager Zidane stunned the club's supporters recently by admitting he was not planning for next season because he was not sure if he would still be at the club.
And Ramos was not willing to speculate on Zidane's future but made it clear that a lack of silverware could prove decisive.
'I'm not the right person to talk about the coach's future, at the end of the season, titles will decide everything,' Ramos said.
