Manchester United are ready to bankroll the £130million summer signings of Antoine Griezmann and Victor Lindelof that Jose Mourinho feels will make them champions.
Mourinho is determined to get business done early in the close-season and has prioritised Atletico Madrid's Griezmann to bring more firepower and Lindelof of Benfica to stiffen the defence.
The United manager believes if his side are to win the Premier League for the first time since 2013, it is vital to improve the squad.

Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo have played plenty of games in central defence this season but Mourinho sees Lindelof as a significant upgrade.
He looked at buying the 22-year-old Sweden international last month but the deal was complicated by Benfica having to make a payment to Lindelof's first club Vasteras.
As a result, his buyout clause rose from €40m (£34.5m) to €50m (£43m) but that has not put off Mourinho.
France international Griezmann, 25, is one of the world's most coveted forwards and while United denied French reports on Thursday that they had already agreed personal terms, Mourinho has previously made his interest clear.
Atletico would be reluctant sellers but they would be powerless if United trigger the player's £86m release clause.
Mourinho sees his capture as the one that will define his plans for the next campaign.
