Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen has signed a new three-year contract at White Hart Lane, believed to be worth in the region of £70,000 a week.
The Belgium centre back is the latest in a line of new deals secured by the club, following on from Harry Kane's five-and-a-half year announcement on Thursday.
Spurs tweeted the news from their official Twitter account, with a picture of Vertonghen and Mauricio Pochettino accompanying the news.

In the snap, Pochettino adopts a similar pose to previous contract signings, including Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Danny Rose, Kyle Walker and Kane — an ongoing joke that has been picked up by the dressing room.
In an interview published by the club, Vertonghen revealed his thoughts after signing his bumper new deal.
'I was very happy, once I put my autograph on the paper I was extremely happy, a big relief,' he said.

'I'm very happy to be here, the future looks great so I'm very happy to be part of it. This is an unbelievable group of talent and a group of guys, I feel privileged to be part of that.
'We've created a great atmosphere in the team and there's a great buzz around Tottenham.'
The 29-year-old was already under contract until 2018, but his new deal will take him through until at least 2019 as Spurs look to tie down their biggest names.

The 29-year-old has played 179 times for Tottenham since arriving at White Hart Lane
Vertonghen has made 179 appearances for the White Hart Lane club since arriving in England from Ajax in 2012.
'It feels great to be a little part of the big part that Tottenham is,' he continued. 'I can't imagine playing somewhere else at the moment.
'We have a great team, the technical staff, medical staff, everyone around the Club, the press, all great guys and it feels good to help Tottenham achieve the goals they want to achieve.
'This is probably the strongest squad that I've ever played in and I think everyone agrees with me.'
