Juventus keeping tabs on out-of-favour Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic

Juventus are weighing up a January move for Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.
The Serbia international has been on the bench during Chelsea's resurgence under Antonio Conte with his last start for the club coming in the 3-0 defeat at Arsenal.
Ivanovic can speak to foreign clubs from January and Juventus are drawing up a shortlist of targets as they seek cover for the injured Leonardo Bonucci and Dani Alves.

Ivanovic has still made 15 appearances this season and remains captain of Serbia. Juventus believe his uncompromising style would suit the Italian league and that he would be less exposed for any lack of pace with the way they set up.

The Italian league leaders have the promising Daniele Rugani at centre back but have concerns over the ongoing fitness of Georgio Chiellini while Medhi Benatia is due to join up with Morocco for the Africa Cup of Nations. Bonucci is out for two months, Alves has a broken leg and Andrea Barzagli is out until January.

The 32-year-old Ivanovic is still wanted at Chelsea by owner Roman Abramovich but is keen to play regularly and will consider approaches. Chelsea want to add another centre-back while they will also welcome back Andreas Christensen from his loan at Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer.
Premier League sides are also showing interest in Ivanovic.
Meanwhile, Juventus are continuing to follow Everton striker Romelu Lukaku although any prospective deal is more likely to be for next summer. Juventus expect to lose Mario Mandzukic who has interest from England and China.
