Feyisetan Fayose Distributes Delivery Kits To Pregnant Women (Photos)

Fayose distributes delivery kits to expectant mothers, settles patient bills

The wife of Ekiti State Governor, Her Excellency Mrs Feyisetan Fayose, has embarked on another round of hospital visitations, settling of hospital bills of indigent patients and distribution of delivery kits (mama kits) to expectant mothers across the state.

This round of the program commenced in Ekiti South Senatorial District where expectant mothers and indigent patients from Ekiti East, Gboyin, Emure, Ise/Orun and Ekiti Southwest Local Government Areas gathered in Ekiti State Specialist Hospital Ikere Ekiti to benefit from the exercise.

The program was part of activities set aside for marking the second year anniversary of Governor Ayodele Fayose's tenure as Ekiti State Governor and the 20 years anniversary of creation of Ekiti State.

Mrs Fayose also paid a visit to Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital , Ado Ekiti where patients and expectant mothers from various health facilities in Ado Ekiti environs, such as Comprehensive Health Center, Oke Iyimin, Mother and Child Specialist Hospital, Ile Abiye hospital and other health facilities also gathered to receive the first lady's usual sense of largesse and act of benevolence.

The wife of the governor seized the opportunity to dedicate the success of the administration so far to God Almighty. In her words, "God is the pillar that has been holding us and backing us". She also called on Ekiti people to continue praying for government of Governor Ayodele Fayose to have a successful completion of tenure.

Mrs Feyisetan also urged Ekiti people to always visit hospitals for checkups to avert preventable illness and death; describing self medications as the fastest route to untimely death which she forbidden among Ekiti people and Nigerians at large.

The program is a continuation of an exercise embarked on by the wife of the governor, which had recorded close to two thousand beneficiaries across the length and breadth of the state within the last few months.
